EMESA Engages ADEFO-MAP2 Project to Advance Digital Agriculture
EMESA joined the ADEFO-MAP2 partnership in Soroti to demonstrate how digital agricultural solutions can strengthen timely information, decision-making, market access, financial services, and agricultural value chains for smallholder farmers.
Connecting digital tools with real agricultural settings
The engagement began with EMESA showcasing its digital agriculture solutions to members of the ADEFO-MAP2 partnership. It then moved into the field at Aminit Agro Forestry Centre, where participants could see and interact with the technology in practice.
The four-year Ateker Development Foundation Multi-Actor Partnership Phase 2 (ADEFO-MAP2), funded by Sign of Hope and BMZ with local partners including SOCADIDO, supports smallholder farmers across Ngora, Kaberamaido, Kapelebyong, Katakwi, Soroti District, and Soroti City.
This engagement advances collaboration among technology providers, farmers, financial institutions, markets, and agricultural service providers toward a more inclusive, productive, and digitally enabled agricultural sector.
